Pat Evans is a recent co-chair of the Grandmothers Advocacy Network (GRAN), a cross-Canada network of older women advocating for policies and programs that will improve the lives of women and children in southern Africa and elsewhere in the Global South. Previously, Evans was as a faculty member in the Schools of Social Work at York and Carleton Universities, specializing in gender issues and social policy.
