In March 2018, a small, intimate group of scholars, artists and activists from across Turtle Island (North America) and beyond – indeed from across “the Americas,” gathered together in Nogojiwanong, on Michi Saagiig Anishinaabeg territory. We opened a conversation about intergenerational memory work, resistance, and creative archive-making. We grounded our conversation in the land and territory in which we gather – from some of the important activist remembering underway in Nogojiwanong.
